Report Income Tax in Canada NETFILE and Access Code

Every year you have to report tax in Canada. More and more people choose report tax using electronic methods and online services.

NETFILE is a service that allows most Canadians to file their income tax and benefit return for the current year using the internet.  -- From Canada Revenue Agency official site;

Access code: You need a four-digit access code to use NETFILE. This code changes each year, and you can only use it to file your own tax return. If you did not receive your NETFILE access code or cannot find it, you can get it through Access Code Online service. -- From Canada Revenue Agency official site;

If you didn't receive a NETFILE access code or you misplaced it, you have 2 options to choose:

1: Call e-Services Helpdesk at 1-800-714-7257;

2: Use our NETFILE access code online service, NETFILE and Access code online can be found from here.

For online access code service, you need:

-- your social insurance number (SIN);
-- your date of birth;
-- the amount you entered on line 150 of your 2010 tax return.

 

NETFILE00 _The NETFILE transmission service is open from February 13, 2012, until September 30, 2012, for the electronic filing of your 2011 personal income tax and benefit return. Tax returns filed via NETFILE must first be prepared using one of the 2011 commercial tax preparation software packages or Web applications certified for NETFILE._
