Reports: Pop star Michael Jackson dies at 50
Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop,” has died after suffering cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home, according to multiple reports. The singer had been preparing for a major comeback after years of seclusion.25/06/2009 6:44:27 PM
A fire department official said Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his rented Bel Air mansion at 12:26 p.m.
Jackson, 50, was treated at UCLA Medical Center. But hospital officials were reportedly unable to revive him, according to ABC News, the Los Angeles Times and TMZ.

Michael Jackson’s death was a great bombshell for anyone who loves the arts in general, though taking into account his situation it was perhaps not so surprising. The molestation charges brought upon him weighed on him like a ton of bricks. As soon as he started to rely on medicines to just get by, that was the time when there definitely was no way back, in my opinion.
