How to Convert .epub Files to Any Format which Kindle Paperwhite Supported for Free ?
Here we use an open source and free software to convert .epub file.
Calibre, is a free and open source eBook library management application. Calibre provides multiple features, we will use its eBook conversion feature.
1: Download Calibre from Calibre official website, they provides multiple editions due to target OS systems (Widnows, OS X, Linux, even portable edition); We use Windows edition here;
2: After you install Calibre, open it, click “Add books” button on the top to add the book which you want to convert. For example, an .epub format book;
3: After adding a book, select it and click Convert books button:
4: A Convert window will be opened. Here you specify output format. Calibre can convert multiple formats to multiple formats, which is strong.
Here we select .mobi format which is supported by Kindle Paperwhite as output format:
5: We can adjust some settings to get better outputting.
For example, we select the output profile to Kindle Paperwhite or Paperwhite 3 to generate Kindle Paperwhite specified file.
Also, you can adjust font size under the Look & Feel settings.
After you set done all settings, click OK button to start the file converting:
6: After the converting process done, select the target file, right mouse click and open the containing folder:
