2006年8月21日，还差几个月就工作1年了，看到银行账户里已经积累了一些存款，想是否可以足够付清剩下的贷款，就给贷款中心打了电话，问 balance，答复是还有差不多一小半没还，但最让我吃惊的是我的贷款利率已经从7.75%涨到了8.5%还要多！看来必须想办法提早还钱了。
感谢华枫论坛的网友“玉观音”，让我知道了关于我贷款“减免”的处理时间。 They received my student loan repayment form on Feb 22. After work today I called Student Loan Center and asked whether they received my "Consolidated Agreement and Repayment Form" that I sent to them at the last week. they said Yes. And, they told me I did not select wrong options on that form.
今天是周六（2月18日）。决定把贷款中心规定的Agreement("Consolidated Student Loan Agreement And Repayment Form")签好了寄出去. 因为按规定是必须按consolidation date（即毕业后6个月的最后一天）至少提前5天寄给贷款中心（我的consolidation date是3月1日，即贷款中心必须最迟在25日收到我签署的Agreement）: Please retrun a singed copy of this Consolidation Agreement to the National Student Loans Service Centre no later than 5 days prior to your consolidation date (the last day of the sixth month after the month in which you ceased to be a full-time student).
