A Cheap NAS with 3TB Installed Sold by Amazon Officially

We just ordered a cheap 3TB hard drive pre-installed NAS which is sold by Amazon officially. The price is crazy for $28.89 CAD.

Even it is temporarily out of stock, but we can still order it because Amazon mentions “Order now and we'll deliver when available. We'll e-mail you with an estimated delivery date as soon as we have more information. Your account will only be charged when we ship the item.”

The NAS supports RAID levels: 0, 1, 5, 5+spare and 10, and provides User and group level permissions for securing shares with Web user interface.

Also, due to the information, “LaCie Ethernet Disk RAID with 4 hard disks in trays” which means the package will come with pre-installed hard disks, which is a amazing deal!

And, there are dual Gigabyte Ethernet ports and two USB 2.0 ports, we can set our own local network, and attach extra external storage via USB ports, or copy files.

Even it is an old model, but we can still use it to store our files and documents that are not very important, such as movies and temporary files.

As such a low price, why don’t we try it? If it will be not that good which we expect, we can return it to Amazon with issue, then the return and shipping will be free.
