SSD and Enclosure's USB Type and SATA Type

When we purchase SSD and enclosure if we want an external drive, we must know two important feature data: USB Type and SATA Type.

For SSD, we only have to consider SATA type; for enclosure, we will have to consider USB type and SATA type.

What is SATA ?

If you remember how you assemble a desktop pc in around 2000, you must know there were a kind of wide and thin cable which was used for connect the mother board and hard drive, the cable called PATA (Parellel AT Attachment); Now the computer bus interface changed, we use SATA (Serial AT Attachment) to connect computer mother board and hard drive (HDD) or SSD or optical drive.
