Quick Launch a Program in Windows 8 Desktop

Windows 8 does not have a start button, or even there is a start button in Windows 8.1, but it is still different with Windows 7, you can not find a program directly using start button.

So if you are in Windows 8 Desktop (not in start screen), you will find it is not that convenient if you want to use a program, for example, you want to use paint tool now, how can you do ?

You have 2 method to do:

Method 1:

After you opened the program, right click the logo icon in taskbar, choose Pin this program to taskbar. This will pin your program icon to taskbar, the next time you can just click the icon in taskbar.

Method 2: Using Searching, Click keyboard **Win + S** key, the Search windows will pop up, then you input keyword to search. the program which you are searching will be found out, then you can click the program to run.
