Google Search Tips Symbols and Operators

How do you use Google for searching ? Most of times we used keywords, but how organize keywords to get different searching results ? What does Google provide us searching rules ? Did you used search operators and punctuation?

Here we list parts of Google search symbols and operators:

-: Excluding the keywords related info from result.

“: Search by exact keywords in two quotes.

*: the * is a placeholder which indicates any unknown or wildcard terms;

..: The two dots, let searching to have a range such as $10..$30;

There are also something else such as +, @, $, # are for Google+, social tag, prices and hash tag;

site:: Search a website

related:: Search a similar website

OR: Search by A OR B

info:: Search information about web address

cache:: Search a webpage’s cache
