Chinese Pinyin in English Windows 8.1

When Windows 8 turned to Windows 8.1 (English Edition), there are lots of Chinese input software did not work anymore, this includes famous Google Pinyin.

So how to input Chinese using Pinyin in English Windows 8.1 version? (the following steps used mouse, not fingers)

1: Using finger to slide out the right side menu and select Settings

image 2: Click **Change PC settings**: image 3: Select** Time and language**: image 4: Select Region and language in left panel, you will see a languages list which you have in your system, if you want another language, you can select Add a language to add one, if the language which you want has already been in the list, choose it and select Options: image 5: Now you need to add a keyboard for this language which you selected, the keyboard means a type of inputting. image 6: Here we select Microsoft Pinyin: image 7: Now when we click the language icon, we should see the new language input in the list, image 8:We can press Win + Space to switch input keyboard: image
