Canada’s Last One Cent Coin

According to low purchasing power and rising production costs, Canada government has decided to stop distributing the one-cent coin and stop the one-cent coin in the market by phase.
On Friday 2012 May 4th, Canada Finance Minister Jim Flaherty presses the button to make the last penny at the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg.
